The actuality of the gif, it was fucked up. It was sick and disgusting that they would kick an animal. But at the same time, it was funny. It was funny because it was unexpected. It was someone petting a cat and then all the sudden it was kicked like a football. That was funny. Does that mean it also can't be sick and twisted and disgusting? No. It was both. It was funny and it was plain wrong.

Just like watching someone get kicked in the balls. I would never want that to happen to someone (subtracting extreme cases) nor would I want that to happen to me. But if I (or anyone) saw a gif of it, they would probably laugh. It would be wrong, but it'd be funny. It'd be sick, twisted and disgusting for the person to do it, but the gif would be funny. Bcuz it would be unexpected.

A lot of people in here acting like the people who find it funny hate animals or some sort of shit. It's not like that (or at least in my case) at all.

Just like the break dancing kid kicking youtube video. Shit was fucked up, but when I saw it, it was funny. It was random and unexpected and it triggered all my funny reacting organs. Was it fucked up? Yes. Would I ever want that for anyone to happen? No. (Yes, I know that was a total accident) But because of the randomness and unexpectedness, it was funny.

Anyways, that was my thoughts.
Thank you! You hit the ball right out of the park. I couldn't agree more!

I'm assuming the break dancing video is where the kid wonders in and the person ACCIDENTALLY kicks the kid. That is different in the way it wasn't premeditated. These guys lured the cat, got its trust and then kicked it like a football and laughed. I can't find this funny even in the unexpected way you are talking about, I think they are evil fucks. I can't see how someone (besides being psychologically fucked) can do this type of thing.

You find me sick, twisted, and disgusting for laughin at a fuckin gif image on the internet? Really? *rolls eyes*

There's millions of kids starving all over the fuckin world, women being treated like shit and raped, and children being molested but fuck all that lets all fuckin raise hell cause somebody KICKED A FUCKIN KITTY!!!!!!!!!!!
I find your capacity to laugh at this sick, twisted and disgusting. Because my reaction was the opposite. I feel physically ill seeing stuff like that.

As far as the starving kids etc what has that got to do with this? Because those things go on we can't have reactions to anything else? If someone was making gif's about that I would have the same reaction.

Artsy, I (hopefully a few others) agree with you. That IS fucked up. I do think they are evil fucks and I honestly, I hope karma came back around and fucked them. I for one believe in the same thing.

But the gif, just plain gif, it was funny.
When I see the gif in plain, it was funny.

I'm just saying, if the emotions are subtracted from the gif, it's funny. It's unexpected and random, shit like that doesn't happen everyday (I know it does, you get what I mean).

Just like that dog commercial for football, it was staged, so it adds more to the original humor. The humor is still there because of the randomness and stupidity of it.

I for one, love animals and would never ever want that to happen. But because of the unexpected randomness, it was funny.

All funny minus emotions before its broken down to pieces. I just wanted all that to be said (my last 2 posts in here including this) cuz I don't want the wrong idea to be spread that just because something is just plain wrong and sick, some people can't find it funny.

But everyone is different and everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Just me personally, when I saw the guy come in and kick the cat I didn't laugh.. It made me feel sick. So obviously when I have that kind of reaction to it I can't understand how it can be laughed at. I understand what you're saying about the unexpected element but as soon as that turns into cruelty my reaction is different.

I feel where you're coming from and it's respected, like I said, everyone responds differently.

The actuality of it was cruel.

Stred could've not acted like the village idiot, DP could've taken off the leather that shows he's all man and just say "Yeah it's fucked but I laughed anyway". It's not like the picture wasn't posted to get a reaction out of people.

I can see the humor but I really disliked seeing that picture. How hard is it to understand that for the people that don't like this it's not fun to watch? One of the reasons being that most animal abuse goes unpunished and when you see it as a funny gif online it's a very fun reminder. But it's just too fun to get a rise out of people that like animals.

There's millions of kids starving all over the fuckin world, women being treated like shit and raped, and children being molested but fuck all that lets all fuckin raise hell cause somebody KICKED A FUCKIN KITTY!!!!!!!!!!!
So much wrong with this statement.

You would it find it funny if someone kicked a baby? Well I hope one day you have a child that you love and would die trying to protect if necessary, then somebody posts up a picture of the internet of someone drop kicking your child into a wall.

We'll see who laughs then.

As for the breakdancing video, that's different because it was an accident.

I actually feel sorry for the losers in the gif more than anything. Their lives are so sad and pathetic that they have to go around kicking animals for fun. They probably have no life skills and will end up in jail getting raped. (because they are quite clearly complete and utter morons).

Worst analogy ever. We're not laughing at gifs of that, are we?

Idiot. You should have your logic taken away from you.

OH WAIT, there's nothing to take.

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated" - Gandhi
As much as I hate corny "quotes" I love most Gandhi's.
Some are unbelievably simple yet on point, about things we know but don't think about.
