Skipping the doctor, he (or she) would prolly tell me to rest it anyway.

Gonna see a physio in half an hour.

Actually, he agreed with me because if I went to the hospital or a normal physician they would put me in a standard process. Physio's know a helluva lot more about sport injuries than your regular doc.

Anyway, he said pretty much what I expected anyway. Have to wait until the swelling goes away and then come in again. Will at least take one or two weeks. Right now it's so thick no scan or check-up will provide any conclusive answers.

I got crutches though, and the confirmation that shuffling around can't hurt it any more so that's good. He did say that there's a chance that the ligaments are torn. But okay, we'll see that in 2 weeks or so.

my 24day free pass ran out so I can't go anymore and I can't decide which gym I want to get a membership for. So I have not stuck to my routine :(

^I assume that was for me. No, I don't want to do that.

Working out to me is more than just working out. There's a certain ceremonious element to it. It's not just working out. It's going to the gym. It's going to the gym with a friend who can motivate you and spot you and for whom you can do the same. It's about seeing other people working out in a gym (and women :) ) and getting motivated. It's about conversing and sharing work-out tips. It's about going to the sauna and steam room before and after a work-out. It's about doing a couple laps in the pool. It's about hitting the jacuzzi with a bunch of grown men and feeling awkward about it and hoping they won't start a conversation with you. It's about hitting on the hot girl working at the customer service desk. It's pointing out to your friend that weird guy at the gym dressed like Will Ferrell from Semi-Pro and laughing at him. It's about, "hey damn, that girls got a nice ass". I might have mentioned that, but it needed to be said again. It's about getting away from home. It's about relieving stress. It's more than living on a farm in Ireland and doing push-ups in the shed between milking the goat and feeding the pigs.

That's not "working out", that's "a day out".

There's more to a healthy lifestyle than just pumping iron. For example, looking at a nice set of tits. Good for circulation.

looks to me that you waste 2 hours at the gym every evening. you are there to work, not to enjoy yourself by checking out other guys and feeling them up in the jacuzzi. now get down and give me 50.
