Still I Rise was one of the first songs 2pac recorded after he got out of jail so that was probably also for AEOM. Secrets of War was recorded later so that probably was for One Nation or Outlaw Immortals vol.1. Any1 else knows which songs were supposed to be on Outlaw Immortals Vol. 1 since it was finished according to Frank Alexander.

i dont think the songs he made right after he got out of jail would all make AEOM album.unless he confirmed by himself or was confirmed by other source.they could have been in Makaveli album too.

Dont Call Me, Bitch was cut from S4MN. Old School OG was cut from Thug Life Vol 1
Damn, I missed the site!!!! I never knew there was an Old School OG anybody got it????

Temptations was recorded in August 1994.

I had never heard of 2pacalypse Now or Strictly being 2 disc-albums. But it does seem VERY logical.

Pac probably recorded about 75 or more songs that we know of between 1990 & 1993. That's about 5 albums.

They're are 2 different kinds of album cuts.

An Artist submits a demo of maybe 25-30 songs, and the studio takes about 18-20 for the album. The rest are cut, later used for soundtracks, mixtapes, etc.

Then the studio releases a promo, then sometimes certain songs arent well received and the studio cuts them from the album.

So when you refer to tracks being cut from an album, there were maybe 10 songd actually CUT from Pac's albums.

There were 100's that didn't make the cut in the first place. Usually, you only release 1 album per year, even if it's a double-disc album. So if you're doing 3 songs a night, just one night a week, thats 150-songs!!!!

TVT Records, Interscope, and DeathRow were amazed with 2pac's work ethics, and they just couldnt put out 150 songs a year, thats why he 500 songs that were unreleased when he died in 1996.

The only songs i can think of that were ACTUALLY CUT from albums were:

Flex (Strictly) appears on the Holler If Ya Hear Me single.
Nothing But Love (Strictly) appears on the I Get Around single.

Runnin' From Tha Police (Thug Life) appears on the promo.
Out On Bail (Thug Life) (Pac performed this at several concerts in 1994, so it was an obvious favorite of his)

Ready 4 Whatever (Thug Life) & I'm Losin' It (Thug Life) & Lie To Kick It (Thug Life) because the studio wanted to keep Thug Life as a group rather than emphasizing certain people like Syke & Mopreme. And they wanted tp keep the focus on the 5 (6 if you include Stretch) group members so they cut Spice-1 & Richie Rich.

Thugs Get Lonely Too & Throw Ya Hands Up (Me Against The World)

Friends, Troublesome '96, & U Don't Have 2 Worry (Makaveli). They were recorded during the recordings of the album, so logically they would have been on the album, since DeathRow took Life Of An Outlaw which was meant for the Outlawz album, they were looking to boost the runtime, so i'm not sure why they were cut. Friends was on one of the Makaveli Promos.

High Til I Die was cut from Better Dayz. (It was mentioned in the Amaru interview about Better Dayz.

With all the new Loyal 2 The Game material which is mostly 91-93, it is quite obvious that 2pac recorded nearly as many songs pre-DeathRow as he did on DeathRow.

2pacalypse Now seems too small at 13 tracks, 50 Minutes. So i'm sure the label cut certain songs they had chosen, becuase they werent well-received. Perhaps Tearz of A Clown, Troublesome, Don't U Trust Me & Days Of A Criminal.

Pac recorded so many songs that he planned an album R U Still Down? and couldnt find time to release it before he released his next material (Me Against The World)

R U Still Down? as we know it, is actually a composition of 3 different albums.

1. Leftover Thug Life tracks (Ready 4 Whatever, I'm Losin' It, Lie To Kick It)
2. Leftover tracks recorded between 2pacalypse & Strictly. (I WOnder If Heaven Got A Ghetto, Do 4 Love, When I Get Free, Hold On Be Strong, Nothing But Love, & 16 On Death Row.
3. The actual R U Still Down? album recorded in late 1993 and early 1994. I'm not sure of an actual tracklist but how does this sound?

15 tracks (Including 2 interludes)
Redemption (Intro)
Open Fire
R U Still Down?
Hellrazor
Thug Style
Where Do We Go From Here?/What's Next (*Not on the album, but it uses the same beat)
Nothing 2 Lose
I'm Gettin' Money
Fuck All Yall
Let Them Thangs Go
Definition Of A Thug Nigga
Fake Ass Bitches
Enemies With me
Black Starry Night (Interlude)
Only Fear Of Death

I pick these songs because they all have a similar message, similar sound, and they work well together. Also all are 93-94.

But we can all think whatever we want.

im pretty sure old school was just a MATW song, he started recording that album in 93, if u go by his shouting out 9-trey in temptations, and as far as songs that didnt make it for AEOM, u can at least be sure of these 2:

u cant fade me: he refers to dramacydal at the end, as well as talking about dre in his verse but not dissing him

play ur cards right: mopreme is on the song meaning it has to be from the early dr sessions for AEOM since he left after that

another i would think might be is Soon As I Get Home, but that is just speculation i dont have proof like for the others
being from early dr sessions doesnt mean it was cut though. like i said, narrowing down and cutting tracks are two different sides of a coin. probably, at one point or another, every song tupac recorded was meant to be released on something. i doubt pac went into the studio and recorded shit thinking "im never gonna release this". maybe he chose not to after the song was done, but i doubt he recorded for the fuck of it. that doesnt mean it was meant for a specific album. understand that when you make claims like you do, even if you can't prove it, it starts another online rumour. if the old heads retire from the scene, it's doom'd.

other AEOM scraps might be:

late nite with quik and amg, and then maybe he rerecorded later with the outlaws and another one of his verses,

happy home, but only if that is faith evans on the og hook, since she recorded wonder y they call u bitch

ive also wondered if secretz of war was an early DR song, but thats only cuz he says live on death row bitch at the end, kinda just telling everyone thats where he was now, i have no hard evidence on that though

better dayz? hes shouting to people that he just got out of jail with, saying thanks to evryone he met along the way? perhaps

obviously the og when we ride, with just the 2 or so verses

i can picture niggaz nature as an AEOM track as well

changed man, just proclaming that after being in jail
the original version of when we ride lol. you cant say it was cut, it was just edited. thats not called cutting a track, that is called finishing it. what you say about secretz of war sounds like a crappy reasoning, however, i'd imagine it to be from the first few months on dr. not sure about happy home, nor late night.

what way should i go bout it.. perhaps cut into two era's pre death row and death row..or even more specific cut into era albums thug life era,MATW era,AEOM and makaveli era albums?
think of it as unreleased tracks that never got put out lol. knowing the year or era from whence it came should be sufficient. pac probably did 50+ tracks for every album, or some at least, before he narrowed it down (barring the makaveli album).

it was recorded in the same sessions, but that doesnt mean it was meant for the album. beat sounds kinda unfinished.

lil homies IS dr era. the list looks good. alas, this is why people label songs by era and not what album they were scrapped on - the latter is not descriptive enough. "thugz get lonely too" wasnt meant for me against the world. or maybe it was, but we dont know so yet. there is no confirmation for half of the tracks on that list. you should be able to tell from listening to a track what era its from.

i'd say that's a pessimistic guess. pac recorded some 200-300 songs during his 9 months on death row. pac was out and considered an artist for 5-6 years before he went to jail. do the maths lol.

more were cut, believe me. pac and thug life recorded a whole thug life album that got scrapped. then they re-recorded it. ready 4 whatever and losin it were meant for that album for sure (thug angel picture gallery anyone)

wrong. r u still down was indeed planned by pac, but not for a 94 release. pac wanted dre and the other death row producers to remix old matw era tracks for release, that was the idea.

I believe Dont Call Me, Bitch was meant for S4MN or Troublesome because in the outro Pac says 'Last year he was singing Brenda's Got A Baby this year he singing Don't Call Me, Bitch' showing it was after 2Pacayplse Now but the beat shows that it wasnt a Thug Life or MATW track. A contact told me bout Old School OG.

Both Komradz & Bounce My Way exist.

Komradz was confirmed by your good friend fatalxthug, features the Outlawz.

Bounce My Way uses a recycled Pac-verse, so it's nothing to get excited over.

On a side-note:

I doubt that Troublesome '96 was meant for the Makaveli-album:

I know Pac recycled a lot of his lyrics, but most lyrics don't appear on a album more than once (apart from his 2Pacalypse Now/Strictly 4.. days).

Just my thought though (if it made sense to anybody :p).

Yes. So if the house of blues concert was in dated july 6th I think? The makaveli album was recorded in 'mid summer' according to QD3, but we think it was the middle week of july when DK& was recorded for 3 days/ produced for 7. So troublesome was not going to be on the makaveli album. I am willing to go all in on this one. And what exactly did you mean Ricardo saying friends appeared on a promo? I was unaware of this. -Pete

tbone i realize that they arent cut, so much as narrowed, and as far as my guesses, i clearly said that they were random guesses and nothing concrete so there really is no need to disect every word i said

I think what's next was recorded after his jail time cause it sounds like it's got prince ital on it (not sure) and i thought that he only worked with pac after he got out.

Fuck all y'all sounds like it could have been a me against the world scrap because pac said "fuck hard copy and the daily news and late edition" and shit, meaning fuck the media that is portraying him as a rapist...which matw dealt with.

just my opinion...
