Thug in Me "True" OG question

#1
Is the existence of a Thug in Me OG over a beat similar to Letter 2 My Unborn (UTEOT) something that has actually been confirmed by someone who actually possesses it?

Or is its existence just conjecture resulting from the interview in which Pac talked about making Thug in Me (and his mention of MC Lyte in Thug in Me's intro)?

If the latter is true, isn't it possible that the Thug in Me "OG" that we all have IS the actual OG of Thug in Me? While I recognize that its beat doesn't sound that much like MC Lyte's beat, you have to take into account that Pac does tell Johnny J to "Flip that shit" and "Do that shit Death Row style." The resulting beat still has similarities to MC Lyte's beat. It is patterned similarly and almost sounds like an inverted version of the MC Lyte beat at times.

Has Dante ever claimed to own this Thug In Me over the alternate OG beat? Or has he just championed the notion that such a song exists?

(note: not tryin to diss Dante or anyone else here, just inquiring)

Well, in a situation like this, it wouldn't be illogical to asusme such a song exists. I'm just wondering if the "true" Thug in Me OG is thought to exist due to assumption (from the interview/intro) or from someone actually hearing it.

The Thug in Me (Unreleased Death Row Remix Version) perhaps?
Yeah I always thought the title would be THE THUG IN ME. I even named one of my moody mixtapes Tupac: The Thug In Me. Because he uses this phrase in alot of his Death Row material, aswell as Laugh Now Cry Later, Death Before Dishonour etc.
Its fucked me up finding out that Letter To My Unborn instrumental should be behind The Thug In Me, I love LTMU but the fact is I cant listen to it the same now cause all i hear is 'put my eyes on u, god damn sweetheart u got some thighs on u, now i cant wait to get u home, get u all alone in my bedroom baby can we bone'. Fuckin love that song!!!!!

Plus looks like Dante wasnt' the first to come up the the ' 2pac Switch Ups' notion, Amaru has been doin it for years!

Cool, thanks for the info, that was the info I was hoping to get out of creating this thread. That is dope and I look forward to hearing either the real thing or you're upcoming OG Vibe of it. Should be hot.
