that site is mistaken.

pac said people were repping thug life, but that doesn't equate to membership. thug life as a group was 4 people, and stretch/ls affiliation. spice-1, richie rich, and the others listed were collaborators who supported thug life as a group and as a concept, but they were hardly members.

if that site thinks because pac made a song with nate dogg that he's now a thug life member, they're sadly mistaken.

i certainly would have thought so, being that he was more directly involved with the album than pretty much everyone but pac, but i guess they decided to preserve the live squad as a group as opposed to encompassing them (or stretch) into thug life.

there could also have been a contractual barrier, since the group live squad were signed to tommy boy, so under their contract they may have been prohibited from joining another group on a rival label. now that i think about it, this is probably the reason why stretch was never officially thug life.

the 4 people on the album were thug life as a group. pac was making reference to the notion that all rappers who he endorsed, and whom approached the same subject matter were thug life - meaning they were fighting the same struggle. it's not black and white.
