Have you guys rooted yet?
If not - there's a new method, and it's piss-easy compared to the old way. You can have your phone rooted and running a custom ROM in 6 minutes now. It doesn't show in the video what the app is called, but it's called "Recovery Launcher" and you can find it in the market.

I would heavily recommend it. Cyanogen, who is the main person developing custom ROMs, is releasing a stable Cyanogen4.0 ROM later tonight (there's two trees, a stable tree and an experimental tree, the stable one is great for everyday use), and that's what I'll be running after he releases it. I've been using his last stable release for a couple of weeks now, and it is amazing, especially combined with the Open Overclock app from the market which lets you utilize all of the phone's 528mHz processor (stock unrooted ROM keeps you underclocked at about 400mHz). Fast, smooth, just a much better experience compared to stock.
Also 4.0 ROM includes aspects from the upcoming "Donut" release, which probably won't hit officially for a few months at least.
Give it a go and let me know how you get on.
