Took a while but now I see

Menace: Come on, I was drunken and high
You knew I live like I’m destined to die
That’s who I am, I don’t lie
But still I don’t want you to cry

Wish you would stop living like this
Wish I could make it better with a kiss
Don’t you remember and miss
When our lives were filled with bliss

I dunno bout you but my life’s always been a mess
When I grew up they told me life’s a test
And guess what – I’m doing good more or less
Sometimes I’m slippin you know I do my best

I know all this and I want the best for you
Sometimes I pretend your life isn’t true
I dunno why it’s just what I do
I guess it helps stop me from feeling blue

Whatever happened I don’t want you to feel bad
Whenever I hurt you I didn’t mean what I said

It’s your actions that bring me the most pain
The sun upped and went, left me with rain

Shut up, I don’t understand what’s the problem?
I told you 100 times you’re my gem

I guess the problem is that I caught you out
Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking bout

See, come here and I’ll show you that I care
Hug ya and all, believe me I’m still there

Why are you still here? Come on be honest
Why cheat if you don’t wanna lay this to rest?
Maybe you’d be happier if I left
Maybe I should put my words to the test

I dunno what you’re talking about you know
We’re meant to be together so

So what? Can’t you see the pain I’m in?
When I have to question where you’ve been
It’s like this… I can’t even begin
To express, I know I’m in a no win

Situation? But if I said sorry, would it help?
Don't you understand I don’t care about no-one else.

You shoulda thought bout this before
Sorry, now’s the time for me to close the door

Damn, now she's gone - no gift no rhyme
Will bring her back, so bottom line
Is I gotta move on - I won't whine
Cause I really fucked up this time

Eh Menace!!

This poem is so damn tight. Sorry it took 4 days for it to get reviewed, but nobody seems to come here anymore like they used to. I hope it can get better.
But fa real, this is a real cool poem. I like how you made this into a converstation. That was real creative of you. And if this was a true life poem, I feel sympathy for you. YOU SHOULD OF TREATED HER BETTER!

Anyways.. good to see u still dropping mad rhymes on here.. I liked the 2 parts in this poem and how it alternated.. very nice
I enjoyed the poem and I think ya both wrote some nice lines
My favourite part was definitely this:
"Damn, now she's gone - no gift no rhyme
Will bring her back, so bottom line

That was really nice, I don't usually read really long poems unless it's by Kadafi Son, lol, but this one kept my attention all the way through and I loved it.

all i got to say is BRAVO, the flow the rhymes the poem itself,,everything is well done, but the best part was the ending, definetly one of the best poems i ever read and that's the bottom line, keep it up guys and keep on delivering.
