When did you first learn about 2Pac and his music?

lol,I never got into 2pac until summer 2003!! I liked the first two songs I heard (changes & thugz mansion) and since then have been on the eternal search for knowledge (and songs)lol

first time i heard about 2pac was on the same song video........my neighbor had a copy of 2pacalypsenow that i borrowed and didnt like.......then in 7th grade this dude kept saying over and over again "i get around" im like whats that he said thats 2pac so i listened to the radio and heard that song and was like damn!!! so im rolling with the older homies and my dude was like chack the bass in this song out and put on representin 93 i was like damn!!!! went and swooped the strictly tape and was straight up hooked ever since.......since that day pac has been a major factor in my life

Some chick was obsessed with Pac back in elementary school, she used to call herself mrs Amaru, we thought she was nuts. That's how I first heard of Pac!

Years later I started to get in to rap music, I stole The Lox's "Money, Power & Respect" from the library and I loved it. Then I heard Mack 10 and Jay-z's shit, for some reason I wanted to hear some Pac stuff and got R U Still Down, it wen't on from there! I think I listened to the Greatest Hits album everyday for six months, I was blown away to say the least!

Looking back it's crazy how little I knew about Pac, after hearing RUSD I wen't on the Internet to check if he really had died, I was hoping I had misunderstood something!
