She lives on a farm. In Stone Mountain. In GEORGIA.

She employs locals to do the farm work and gives the food to the poor.

I don't think the Lawz smoked any of the ashes. Rumour created from song lyrics.

He was cremated.
Ashes were spread in the Ocean at a memorial. It is spoken on by Shock on Thug Angel.
Some ashes were spread somewhere else, I couldn't remember where, but someone said a park in LA, and I agree.
The rest were buried underneath a memorial on Afeni's farm, in GEORGIA.

is it just me or does cremation seem a disrespectful way of dealing with a dead body? doesn't burying them seem more graceful and have more honour?

Oh you mean to have worms eat your corpse? It doesnt really matter, your dead.. Theres not much about it I guess some people like to be in the breeze. Who knows what Pac wanted he spoke of both ways in his music but something was maybe said to the family.

IIRC, Lauren Lazin discusses it on the commentary track to Resurrection as well, and Leila Steinberg also refers to the memorial where they spread his ashes over the ocean on Thug Angel.

OK, Pittsey, you're one of the few here I have respect for, so rather than not believing you, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here, but can you tell me the source where you learned she lived on a farm? I could have sworn she did an interview in which she mentioned her apartment.

I feel the same way myself. I have never understood the purpose of cremation, but, hey, you have to abide by or SHOULD abide by whatever the deceased stated they wanted.

Fuck... if Pac said he wanted his body to be thrown in a garbage truck and have his flesh torn apart by the spikes, it may be fucked up, but it's what he wanted.

Personally, I want to be gutted and stuffed. :p

Nah...just kidding. Anyone in here know where that joke is derived from?

u guys seriously think he wanted to be creamted and then be throwen into the Ocean, of course no! Tupac even says "When I die, let it be, and when they come for me, Bury me a G." so u guys still think he wanted 2 be creamted? beside, Afeni respected what her son Tupac said, so u think she would burn him aginst his will insteand of burying him?, and beside Afeni says that so people won't go looking for a grave, and find there is no grave beacause he is alive, so she makes up this creamantion bullshit, Tupac was creamated or buried, he is alive and make his plans quietly while no suspects it! Afeni is throwing you off, he wasn't creamted

Do you take every 2pac lyric to heart? Jesus Christ.

Wow...this guy is me...only when I was 19, young and stupid. :thumb:

Dude, I refused to believe he was dead too. I mean, hey, afterall, it's not like there aren't a TON of coincidences and events and facts that people can refer to in arguing his "fake death" theory, but alas, when he didn't return on the date of his 7th anniversary, I had to come to grips with the fact that the man is dead.

I would LOVE for someone to prove that he did fake his death, but until someone comes up with some really irrefutable evidence, you gotta face it.

Nah...c'mon dude. Pathetic is being 40 years old and living in your parents basement, lol.

Like I said, I was convinced for a while that he faked his death too. I mean, you can't deny there's a shitload of facts to support the theory.

He also said in a song something like "when I die nigga smoke my ashes" cant remember the song or exact quote if anyone else can post it up. MY point is Pac said shit like Bury me etc because it sounded dope it doesnt mean thats what he wanted when he died, since he said both we can definately come to that conclusion.
And jason I've read Afeni's book and 90% of the book is written from her farm.

Loads of places.
I'm not saying she doesn't have an apartment in Atlanta, but she definately lives on a farm in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Read her book, I've forgotten the name... She spends most of her time there, and the writer meets her there all the time.
Jada Pinkett-Smith also has mentioned spending time with Afeni there and several of the emails I've received from The Legacy have mentioned her farm.
But check her book, life of a revolutionary, or whatever it is called.
