Which producers would Pac work with today?

If Pac was still around, and making music, which producers do you think he'd be working with?

And for the sake of argument, Im talking about mainstream guys. I know we all love Johnny J, but thats a redundant argument, it's a given. Im talking about current cats, and more importantly, who would you want to hear Pac work with?

Personally I see him doing a lot with Storch and Timbaland for some reason, and teaming with Kanye on a lot of shit.

Actually, I see Pac mellowing out and dropping a Common-eaque Be type album over Kanye Jazz influenced production. A kind of calm man's Makaveli album.

I honestly dunno bout storch, dunno if that really is 2pac's style. Storch makes club bangers type of shit and I dunno, maybe by now--2007--pac wouldve outgrown that thuglife mentality.

But if this was 1995, I don't really see him putting out a song like "Make it Rain" type of ish.

I think he'd use Storch for Cali Love type singles, I dont think Pac would have stopped those types of songs. Look at Makaveli even it had it's Toss It Up. That type of mentality makes Pac albums sell in comparison to the aforementioned Common. Pac knows how to appeal to both crowds.

So I think he'd drop a Timbo or Storch produced lead single yeah.

i think the most mainstream producers he would be working with would be DJ Premier or Scott Storch... i think kanye is def a possibility seeing as nas works with him... not 100% on that tho... timbaland would be a good collab (no more pain)... once again, not 100%... i think he would mostly be working with his past producers like johnny j, mike mosely, rick rock, dj quik, dj pooh... i think eventually him and dre would be cool again and would work together after he got off tha row... he would've kept QDIII in the game... i think him and daz would start beefing along with snoop but that would cool off and pac and daz would be a legendary combo up there with nas and premo...

I would LOVE to hear RZA's dark beat's with Pac's either aggresive or deep, sad flow. I' wish Pac would use few beats from Kanye west, though I don't really like him, few from his old crew like Daz, Kurupt, QDIII, but mostly I wish he would find his own beatmakers that aren't well known in mainstream these days. Pac always created his own ways and other artists followed them, if Pac wouldn't fall in his greatness till today I think that mainstream would look a bit different. We would see more young, talented rappers with message, but to be honest there's a big chance that Pac would be more like Nas these days, with only difference that people would pay him more attention. I can't compare him to Snoop because Snoop has totally different character. Today, Pac would be much older, without that much creativity and heart to fight, or to do something new. He would fall under pressure of today's fashion, hip-hop songs made straight for clubs and parties etc. He would make hip hop look a bit different, he would promote new artist and good producers but he probably wouldn't do as much as we would expect. DR era was Pac's best times, best songs, best beats, producers we know and love, but their time came to an end, and I'm sad to write that but for purpose of his music only, it's probably better that he left. He left when he was on top of his career, he left a mistery, he left us with thoughts like this one here, and I'm sure that if Pac was still alive most of us wouldn't even listen to him any more. So except those few artists he'd promote I think he would use the same producers any other mainsream rapper would use. Some Storch, Neptunes, Just Blaze etc. It's nothing special but that's how I think it would be. People expect too much from him. He wouldn't be young and that creative any more.

2Pac has a very strong attribute that a whole lot of rap artists don't have these days... versatility. Over the years you can see how his music has changed and progressed to fit the current time, style, and rhythm of hip-hop that his music is being presented in. With that said, the amount of different artists that 2Pac could’ve recorded songs with is endless because as the sound of hip-hop changes, he will be flowing in that same upwards direction, to the top.

2Pac would record songs with Paris Hilton. 2Pac would do a record with Bob Marley if he hadn't died. He would infect callabo with James Brown if the opportunity came up. The funny thing is, even though I don't like the fact of all these remix albums of 2Pac's work being put out, if 2Pac was physically here with us and was in charge of his own projects, I wouldn't mind who he recorded songs with because 2Pac music will always be 2Pac music, and 2Pac knows what sounds good.

I think 2Pac would do songs with anyone and everyone as long as he didn't have any problems with them; big or small, short or tall, fat or slim, black or white. Now if Pac's vocals actually weren’t being slowed down, it would at least make me feelthat someone cares enough about what they are doing. There's a start...

Sorry but I disagree. There's no way Pac would be making songs with some rich ignorant bitch. Pac wouldn't record with just "anyone" he'd only fuck with the real(or who he considered "real"). I think you'd possibly see him with Just Blaze, maybe Timbaland, Rza, most likely Kanye. As for rappers he'd work with I'd say T.I., maybe Game, Em, Bishop Lamont, and Crooked I

I think he'd make Cameo appearances in club type songs from time to time, but all in all I don't think he'd be dropping music or even working on music alot these days. I reckon he'd be involved in younger artists on Euphanasia etc. I think his songs would be probably mostly movie sound tracks( I can't picture him really cameoing like Snoop does except maybe on the odd occasion when he's trying to help someone come up or hike sales), apart from maybe an album every two years where the majority of his solo songs would be on a sort of my block/ white manz world/ type theme, but on a more removed, wise and relaxed level. I think he'd maybe work with Kanye, Dre, and Scott Storch in one off situations, but yeah he'd be more like Nas now I agree, but he'd still be in the limelight largely through films and politics(making a big impact)and he'd have a family and kids. lol I'm largely off topic forgive me.

i could see Pac with Kanye, they would have some good chemistry. Pac would have liked Jesus Walks and what Kanye is about with the part Gospel type style.

i do believe that Pac and Dre would have patched up their differences. Pac would be at his best spitting to a Dre beat again
