Wipe Away Your Tears"

I see, young mothers, sitting on corners
don't hear their babies, I think I hear them calling
for their mother and their father, but dady's busy ballin'
mama's selling her soul for drugs, might as well call the coroner
one simple mistake, can cost you everything
homie went out drunk driving, he was only sixteen
same night he planted a seed, now she's a preteen
and wondering where her daddy is, the one she's never seen
when her mother died, was one of little girl's biggest fears
sat silent at her funeral, couldn't even say a word
now she has no mother, father, she just lost her world
I saw her on that day and said "Stay strong, wipe away your tears"
