If given the oppertunity to make some money with one of Pac's enemies, would you?

I just turned down a nice business oppertunity based on the fact this person or persons was one of Pac's more major beefs, and I mean Im not one of those Pac purests that screams Thug Life while breaking every Puffy or Biggie CD he can find you know. But I kind of felt the need to stay loyal when so few people are, and thought that if this person or persons pulled some shady shit with Pac, could I trust them in a business venture that would require my spending a week of my life with them and doing a lot of organizing.

Well, it is what it is.

Depends who it was, Id work with someone like Nas, Biggie or Dre but not someone like Puffy, Mobb Deep or Jay Z. Id only work with the ones I listed because theyre rap legends and I enjoy their music. The others took advantage of Pac or act like dicks (aka Puffy)

homie... why the fuck not? if you see means for monetary gain for you then do it... its business. at least thats my opinion. you dont have to like him, just deal with it for the sake of making that green. you know what my philosphy is... ill say anything to make a muthafucka smile- ill slap his hand say whattup when i see him, he dont even have to know what the deal is. but ill know that he is a snake and i need to watch him. i guess its kinda like 'keep your friends close and your enimies closer.'

His 'enemies'?? Who would they be??

If you mean like Jay & them, then I'd work with them.

In fact, if there was clarity on Tupac's killer, I wouldn't have a problem working with that dude neither.

For the love of money people....

It all depends on who it is. Truly, I would say that if it was someone that would get you known real quick (nas, jay-z), then I would do it. But, if it was a lesser known artist, then I probably wouldn't.
I'm guessing the artists you turned down was Mobb Deep or the Fugees, because those were the only groups that had major beefs with pac, as i can remember.

i'd work with any of pac's enemies...dude u need the promotion, just fuckin smile and nod, blow up, turn against them, show ur loyality lied with pac....i wouldnt of turned it down rukus, its clear ur loyal to 2pac but u put 2pac before your career, i mean you could look like this '2pac was getting screwed over, so they mighta been shady with u' but even at the end of the day u'd get the recognition....wow im confused with this...i dunno my opinion

Depends on who it is, man. I mean, some peeps that pac had beef with had talent...I'd work with anyone with true talent, not a fake bitch. You're a smart guy, you knew what you were doing, so I'm not gonna ask who it is. Great move. Stay loyal to the game.

Man i gotta say it depends why u turned them down , if u turned them down because u thought they might be shady, nothign to do with Pac now, then id say no problem there . But if u turned them down because Pac didnt like them or thought they were shady i gotta say thats quite funny and bit ridiculous, u said u werent one of those people who smash Big and Puff cd's, maybe not but something like this is on a par with that if not something higher. Dont get me wrong , do what you gotta do man and good luck with it, but dont let someone who has been dead for 9 years rule how you do business.

Nah, Rukus, I really think you did the right thing. Half the people in here are all talking everythings about the money and getting ahead. You have to respect urself, i wouldn't do shit with any of pac's enemies, im not dickriding i just respect the MAN. And seriously i have plenty of money its not that special. I know that ive had people break into my house and threaten me and fuck with me, i would expect anyone loyal to me or who respects to me not to work with them, regardless. Your just being loyal, and I'm sure you have more peace of mind than you would if you found urself working for or with some of pac's enemies. Again, its not about dickryding, its about respect and loyalty. Everyone whos talking bout money needs to check theirselves! Money isn't everything! Only people who say that don't have enough. THen when you get it it isn't all that, and it definitily isn't worth a guilty conscience.

rukas didnt even say it was an artist, so it could be other people 2, i highly doubt it is but someone like wendy williams had shit with pac and shes in the music world, so it could be someone like that as well, but in any case i think that u should realize no one is going to be loyal to you in the music world, well at least very few will, so you should get your money while its there, its great to be loyal and all, but its not great to miss out on lucrative business opportunities like u may or may not have just passed up.

it depends and the only one who can decide it is you ;)

but remember:
It's not about East or West! It's about niggaz and bitches, power and money, riders and punks. Which side are you on? :D
