I've never asked ANYONE to sign up on here apart from Caesar for obvious reasons. But if you're on a particular site a lot, and you got a monthly service bill to pay, and it is your homepage on your computer, those around you get curious and come through and sign up like "hey I just joined your site!" And then if those people want to keep tabs on you or just be involved in what you do and be involved in your interests, they become active.
And then of course when those people arent in your life anymore and you were the main reason they weren't on here, they leave.
My rap partner/producer BleezyBlaze is on here too but doesnt post, just browses, he doesnt get down on the whole message board thing. My girlfriend simply doesnt give a fuck because she's not really an internet person past her email and shit like that. The Outlawz are on here too but they just read the news and shit.
Id fucking hate to have people close to me on here, this is my online refuge, last thing I want is my girl posting on here. How corny is that? Side by side in bed, laptop each, both talking in the same thread? Super lame, but then sometimes you cant stop people doing what they want.
I love streethop, but Streethop is one thing, my career is another thing, and my life is another thing. I need borders and boundries. And to be honest as sad as it is, I dont even view this site as being mine anymore. Im handling some business behind the scenes that is more music related, but Im not on here day to day anymore. I'll probably be more active in the coming months from next month onwards, but it will just be for fun.
As for the topic of this page, you know you've been on StreetHop.com too much when a) you make assumptions about other members like you actually know them, and b) it starts to intefere with your career (which is what started to happen to me).
