Nerdrage

Some times I go into a nerd rage about minor things. I hate injustice, so even though I might cause it myself some times, it just really annoys me on the principle level.

I stumbled over this:

How long should i charge my iphone 4 for the first time? - Yahoo! Answers

NO ITS NOT A FUCKING STUPID QUESTION, YOU STUPID TINAMARIE123 (LOL WHAT KINDA NAME IS THAT ANYWAY). TELEPHONE SALEMEN HAVE BEEN TELLING YOU TO CHARGE YOUR PHONE FOR 236 HOURS BEFORE FIRST USE FOR YEARS. IT IS A 100% VALID QUESTION FOR ANYONE WHO DOESNT TAKE A HEIGHTENED INTEREST IN BATTERY TECHNOLOGY YOU STUPID WHORE.

I might update this once in a while. I've been told venting is therapeutic and I normally don't do it, at all, ever. Besides, I found that yahoo post because I was wondering the same thing and that whore thinks she knows better than me?

Peace though

I know everything about batteries, sucka!

No, really. I could respond seriously if I had an account on that Yahoo shitfest.

However, didn't you work in one of those mobile carrier companies or something? I'm not sure but I think there's something like that in my memories.

PS. This thread belongs to the nerd forum where you would get your share of nerd-dissing for buying an Iphone :p

I do, and when I worked there, Lithium-ion was the new shit. I haven't even checked what battery is in the iPhone, for all I know there could be some new technology out. I just figured I'd check cause I'm getting ready to go pick it up :p

Anyway, I found my answer. I got a sense of the recharge cycle so I think I get how it works now. It was old knowledge I had flushed out :p

We had this discussion on my last iPhone too. My 3GS was stolen, I have everything I had synced on it on my new PC. I work for Telenor (biggest telecom company up here) so I get a nice price and good subscription with it. I am fond of the seamless experience the iPhone gives, I miss Plants vs. Zombies, and I don't use the phone for much beyond quick surfing, actual phone stuff (sms, calls) and the calendar. The iPhone is perfect for me, and easier than having to learn a new device.

But yeah, I know :p
