Why I Hate Religion, but Love Jesus

i was gonna post it WAY sooner but didn't see it and i honestly been gone from the boards and just skim if i do come back. I'm focusing more on rehabbing my arm and other stuff like trying to make money bc Disability aint shit and aint no one going to help me.
However, I think that I generally have the same views of the first guy. (Hear me out)
I don't like the words he used and feel he could have made it better and he probably didn't bc it wasn't a speech, it was a Poem.... and if you guys remember, i've shared that i had a similar idea from the Bible before.
Jesus said to follow him (christ) but religion (christianity) and other religions are man made.
I agree from some of the views of the 2nd guy too, but he's taking the bible and saying things in the perspective that he's reading them....he seems angry and taking it as God is such an asshole for saying all that.
Yes, Jesus said love me more than whomever......but Christ is supposed to be Love so in a sense you're supposed to love him more bc it's supposed to keep your eyes open to keep people you love from taking advantage of you and add that humility and all that good shit.
"Blood is thicker than water" but it's not in my eyes if Blood is taking advantage of you and water isn't. and I've had PLENTY of family take advantage of me and my other family, ya'll read all the stories of my brother stealing from my family and shit..
Again, i'm not religious, im not into the Bible or Jesus for that matter. I read it once and that was it.
I'm just saying that I dislike Religion bc they took the Bible and did their own thing, and the lesson behind the Bible isn't necessarily taken into what it's supposed to be if it doesn't benefit man.
I feel like the real message is do like God did, Work at something, for 6 days. rest on the 7th.
5 days is our 40 hours a week, the 6th day is we work on ourselves, our talents, our careers, whatever to benefit in the life we live to not have to work those 40 hours a week unless it's for ourselves, and finally on the 7th we chill and enjoy family, friends, significant other more than the normal we do in the 6 days. ...Not go to a church and pray to someone that might or might not exist.
I believe God is Love and it's best to love yourself to benefit yourself and others, for if you're loving someone else more than (God) LOVE itself, than you will benefit some people and eventually all will fall apart.
