I asked Stretch's brother MAJESTY on Myspace about who God Bless the Dead was about and here's the reply I got:

"god bless da dead was dedication song to my comrad biggie smalls from queens that was killed in 94 and pac knew him threw us and liked him alot so when he passed he felt da same pain we felt and said lets do a song dedicated to him and thats how god bless the dead came about."

yup and johnny j produced for him.

hows tom and matt? tell them rahim says whats up
Hey whats up Rahim.

Turns out I was wrong with that Biggy Smallz who release those Cruisin' CD singles info on my site.

The real Biggy Smallz was just a friend of Stretch and Maj from Queens, not a rapper.
I've got some info on him somewhere from Maj's producer.

hey man

i was convinced it was johnny j who produced for him after hearing another track that johnny j produced, which was a very similar sounding instrumental for another death row artist.
