I believe that Bullard regrets his decision of leaving Fulham.

I love that guy though.

Alonso wasnt an offensive midfielder. VDV's position would be where Gerrard plays or out on the left side. If Benayoun goes then maybe VDV could come in to replace him. Id prefer a younger out and out winger. someone like Elia perhaps and its seems possible that Arda Turan may join.

Sign VDV by all means if he is available for cheap. he would be a good addition to the squad
