I'm not talking through "my hole". And you can fuck yourself if you want, but I'm not into the same kinda kinky.
The point is, you blatantly challenge an answer to a question, given by a guy who knows what he's talking about. Fine, to your defense, he didn't state any sources, so from your point of view the real facts were still up for grabs. You didn't humbly ask for more in-depth explaining, and didn't try to verify or deny what he had said. You straight denied his statement's merit, saying you "don't believe" that's where the verse is from. Then, when 'proven' wrong, you're too full of pride to even acknowledge that your response was ignorant. Why were you so sure you had a clue in the first place? What information was floating on the top of your head that made you doubt what he was saying? You offered no better explanation/suggestion, you just pointlessly said "I don't believe that's true". When you said "I couldn't give a fuck anyway" it's like you're mad that you got caught telling a lie.
And I didn't say your one little comment was what ruined the 2Pac scene, but way to go giving yourself a way bigger pat on the back than you deserve. I said that this type of ego-/pride-driven behavior, spewing out information that presumably you must have pulled from your own arsehole, has CONTRIBUTED to the downfall of the scene. Or in different terms, it's because the scene has suffered this kind of behaviour that it is so split up in the first place, and you have forum wars and all kinds of gay shit. Note how I have given no indication of how much contribution we are talking about.
If I yell "N-word" in the middle of a big city it's not like you can put the blame for the white-on-black racism on me, but I'm not helping the cause for those couple hundred black people that might have heard me. Do you understand the logic?

Deez basically said it shorter than me, the "I don't give a shit" cop-out is cheap and you should have just shut your mouth, OR given some sort of reasoning for your totally random belief. Believe it or not, "the scene" mattered to me, and it tears my heart what's happened to it, and what you did in this thread is shit that other people have been doing for years

I did not say you said it was fact. But you have to understand the implications of your own language, Bobby. If I say "I'm white", that's a rather ambigous statement. If you're clever enough you can extract information from that sentiment. You could suggest that by stating I am white, I am very aware of race-social issues and feel a need to identify with those of the same skin color as me by making mine known. If I said "I'm white", all of that is nowhere in my sentiment, but someone could withdraw that information from it nevertheless - Because people are fucking stupid some times. That's why I've always been anal about typing long posts. The more details you put in a thought, the less chance it will be misunderstood.

I could read it as "I know that that's not where the verse is from", I could read it as "I think that's not where the verse is from", or I could read it as anything else. It's a stupid thing to say when you have no reason for saying it. Then you can say that you did have a reason - it's what you really thought. You didn't ask for confirmation whether your "thought" was right or wrong, you just expressed your own thought as a response to Deeez' explanation. Are you saying you don't understand why I suggest you "challenged" his statement? You don't see how that's what it could look like to the casual reader?

Your relationship with Deez means nothing to me, this isn't about what he said and what you said lol. It's about people that say things that are untrue, things that they could have kept to themselves, things that contributed nothing. It's the same ol' redundant "shut your mouth if you don't have anything to add" with a new Preach twist (that probably wasn't new). But since I'm nice, I didn't just say "shut your mouth if you have nothing to add", I said so whilst drawing parallells to what you actually did say, and trying to show you how it could "spin out of control" through other people's stupidity.
Great real life example is that supposed interview with Big Syke about Thug Life Vol. 2 that people spread around a few years back. It talked about Cradle 2 The Grave pt. 2, Still Pourin Out A Little Liqour, Thug Life, and a bunch of fake track titles. People believed that thing was real for a long time before someone took the time to dig up the evidence needed to prove that it was false. It all started with one silly man saying something silly, that's all it takes.
Another example is when Big Easy made a thread in the Fair Exchange forum saying he wanted to trade "The Hood's In Me ft. Stretch" for another unheard. It was just a joke to start some shit, which it really did. People were begging Dante and others for that song for about a year. All that, from one line of text from Eric.
