50 Cent Producing 2pac's New Album

#65
50 cent and G-unit would feature on the majority of tracks if this were to happen IMO. 50 really does believe he is the greatest and i don't think it would even occur to him that pac fans don't want to see him on a pac album. He is too narrow minded to do an album how we want it and will use this as an opportunity to further expand G-units fan base and his own pockets, at the expense of pac's legacy. And that b/s about makin an album better than all eyes on me and makaveli is just too funny!

If Pac is with me on G-Unit I guarantee diamond status on every album because I would put out some of the best music of his life.

so is the album good becuase of pacs effort to make the songs or because u executive produced it....

bottom line... pac deserved diamond albums a long time ago... did they decide this now that his "last" album is comin out??
at the end of the day i think 50 does want the best 4 pac and thinks that he knows best, but everyone else thinks they know best as well. besides, 50 is a businessman and he is trying 2 do things 2 gain personal benefits (add another role to solidify his name in hip hop) and save a floundering company.....mobb deep... flop... yayo.. flop... massacre.. didnt sell as much as wanted

yea, i would enjoy sum great promotion, but the question is... do u sacrifice that promotion for an album cluttered with g-unit artists?

Fuck that!! First of all, whether 50 has the marketing schemes and the potential of making 3X Platinum, he's gonna do fake ass shit like Eminem and ruin Pac's legacy. I'd rather have a non-Amaru camp produce a Pac CD, sell 1M, than have a fake ass faggot sell 10M on it. To me, when it comes to Pac's music, only the ppl he was truly related/affiliate with his shit should only touch it cuz they prolly can do it right, sales are my concern

this is ridicilous....this thread shouldn't even be here, we all know what the fans for the most part want, and thats no 50 and the closet to the OG we can get (in terms of vibe)

Well the good news is that whether 50 executive produces the album or not at least 50 has created an early buzz on the album that so many people didn't seem to know about. I guess he is really a marketing genious. People are talking about this new pac posthumous album as opposed to a week ago and when the early news from Amaru first broke out about the lp.

I am seriously sick of your posts.

Anyway, I really hope 50 doesn't pull an Eminem on the album if he does indeed get his hands on it. As Dante said, it is disturbing that they STILL haven't started on the album..

Em created a buzz for L2tG as well as the Pac soundtrack and both those Lp's were a let down......and we talking bout a man who had (or has) some credbility as a lyricsit.

alright 50 you can be at least part of the project but you are not in charge making pac down with g-unit fuck that. my opinion could there be anyone more suitable to produce a pac record than dj quik? the fuckin beat for loyal to the game was incredible. he knew pac he knew his sound he can create anything from scratch and make it sound like a masterpiece. i think they should go back to the formula for all eyez on me. i was listening to late night today with quik and AMG and I think that would've been a perfect track for AEOM. you cannot go wrong with quik if i were afeni i would be reachin out to him. she gave him 1 track on LTTG and he produced by far the best track on the album so why not just go with what works but what the fuck do i know.

he never said that.
spyda got the acapella from the net just like the rest of us. neither of them probably ever heard the og. if anything they heard the mak dilli mix.
Red Spyda got the acapella from whoo kid... who got it from kronik(former dpg webmaster).. who got it from Mike Dean because Daz told him(MD) to give it to kronik (who did so via the web). Kronik gave it to some people... other some people hacked dpg etc. 50 Cent even said in an interview the vocals for the song came from daz (1 of like 2 times he has ever mentioned daz).

This is all a bunch of IF's, and I WOULD LIKE TO... shit. IF it does happen, shit will have hit the fan, because it can get WORSE than what Eminem did on LTTG, he will have every member of G-Unit on there, and over expose them, and 50 will be on every track in some way, guaranteed.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hope this does not happen, why doesn't Amaru turn the album over to QDIII he's a great producer, and would do some great stuff.

QDIII's beats/remixes on "until the end of time" were shitty plus he dont produce anymore.

Signing with G-Unit would've been the best move of Pac's entire career. Don't hate, but seriously: Tony Yayo > Pac. Or at least lyrically...

so you're next move is suicide right?

anyways I saw this article on another board, it made me nothing but sad, for the simple fact that afeni will think about this:angry:

please please dont do this afeni. If you love your son and have love for what he was trying to do as an artist please dont attempt to ruin his legacy anymore with anything like this.
please dont, please

all i know is that i was planning on going to hawaii for a little vacation this summer, but if this developes into any sort of reality, i will be putting my money towards a ticket to atlanta to protest, someone needs to try to put some sense into her

Well this would be a good sales tactic for Amaru if 50 does end up working on Pac's next album. Don't get me wrong though, I don't listen to 50 cent's music.

But if 50 put out Pac's new CD with original beats that are moderinized (ex. What was done to songs like Letter 2 The President and Tear Drops & Closed Caskets. If you hear the OG's, from the retail versions, the beat's on those songs are slightly altered and and changed to sound modern), I wouldnt mind at all. And hoping he would keep all or most original artists on the tracks.
