got my 7" print in the mail 2day!

Got mine, too. can't say i'm too happy with the packing of the poster, as the sides of the poster were crushed a little bit. This was a nice chunk of change that we paid for this, i just wish more care was taken. I would've gladly paid another 5 or 10 to make sure it was properly packaged. Other than that, the poster looks great.

yeah i agree, even though i couldnt really afford to buy this right now and probably shouldnt have i still would have dished out a few extra dollars for proper packaging. i mean it would have cost him only a few dollars.

mine arrived today (#3/250) in one of these:

the problem i have is that the poster was rolled tightly so it bounced around inside the mailer. that resulted in a slight bend across the middle and the ends of the roll are pretty chewed up from bouncing around. one of the corners even got folded somehow. i have to admit, i'm pretty disappointed with the follow through... the poster itself is pretty good. the only complaint i have is that it could have been blurred because you see a lot of digital processing artifacts from the scan and re-size. the real problem is that tube mailers were the *only* way to go - especially after paying as much as we did.

don't get me wrong, i'm happy with the purchase, but i wish a little more care was taken into getting it to me. if it was anyone else but riskie i'd have asked for a partial refund or a return for full refund simply due to the condition. as it stands, i will have to change the order for the frame (at my own expense) to have it an inch or so shorter on all sides so that way the frame can cover more of the edges than i had originally hoped. i also am hopeful that the center crease will flatten out over time. ho hum, at least it wasn't a kaymont part II.

sorry about the problems with the shipping. These posters have been shipped about 5 times in total between the printing plant and the shipper. As far as the prints quality its a scan from the original painting which was done on canvas so if you see 'pixelation' its in actual fact grains from the original canvas.

How many is he selling?
Currently only 250 and all 250 will be signed. He has many more than 250, but all others will not be on sale for a little while and WILL NOT be signed. They will be cheaper than the signed pics but a price has yet to be determined. When details are announced, I'll let everybody know.

I finally got mine. Although the box was pretty fucked up (since the idiot mailmain just jammed it into these bigger community boxes that use keys that they put in your regular mailbox), it was in far better condition than I had expected based on the box and what I had been reading. It has a few imperfections, but nothing that I'd really complain about. Overall, it's very nice, and I just picked up a picture frame on sale for $20 or so. It'll make a very nice addition to my place.

I'm from europe and I would love to purchase one but I'm ***ing afraid of the shipping method...
If possible, wait till we get a reply from some of the overseas buyers. Riskie said he was going to ship all remaining orders and future orders in a poster tube. Overseas orders were suppose to go out last week, so if you can wait a couple more days to hear everybodies feedback. This should help you out with your concerns.

Hope I'll still get a poster with a signature then...
Yes you will. There are actually 250 TOTAL that were signed. The unsigned ones HAVE NOT gone on sale yet.

This is a direct message from Riskie (sent out yesterday):

"THE TUBES ARRIVED IN THIS MORNIN....AS YOU CAN SEE THE 2ND SHIPPING WILL BEGIN TOMORROW! THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!
RISK'"

If Riskie is still on schedule, overseas and all current orders have started shipping again. All orders, including overseas will be shipped in the tubes like you see in the picture.

To order a print, visit www.thainkwell.com and go to the store.

Lets say there were 350 made. $350 x $80= $28,000. Shoulda used tubes on the first shipment.
$80 is overseas price $70 is USA price & only 250 were signed.

Look if your print is bent or has any problems, send riskie an email or hit him up on his myspace & he'll replace it.

I don't even think you ordered one Meyer, you just keep leaving smart a$$ replies. If you ordered 1, then hit him up, otherwise please stop with all your comments. Let's leave this thread fo those who ordered only, if possible Meyer.
