You guys act like I don't know this.

I don't see much point in living beyond 40 anyway. Don't tell me how to die.

But you're lying if you say you don't want to look good until you die...at 40. You just think it's not attainable. If you made any attempt at all you'd be surprised how easy it is.

I am going to start a betting pool.

How long will it take until smacky has to be pulled out of his out by a crane?

Start your betting now.... the time limit ends in 2 years.

But seriously, dude. You have to try and take care of yourself a lot more. You don't have to go all MMA like Rukas has, but at least cut the junk food, and try to cut down on smoking. You don't have to go cold turkey, but do it progressively.

No way that dude is so fug. Rukas you look a lot smaller (I know guys don't want to hear that) than I imagined 6'4" 210 to look like.
No.. you misunderstood me. I said he looks like Eric Northman NOT like Alexander Skarsgard which is an actor who plays the character Eric Northman. I meant based on the description of EN from the books, Ruk looks like someone who could've played the role on the TV show. I simply said True Blood because its the easiest way to get people to know what i'm talking about. :) And I don't find AS (the actor) unattractive at all. I'd let him do naughty things to me while my boyfriend watched. Each person has different taste in what's attractive.

Oh yeah.... Smacky has already said he doesn't care what he eats and he enjoys eating junk food and he isn't interested in changing his lifestyle... so why not lay off of him? *shrug* He's not going to change because you guys keep bringing it up. And maybe this isn't the way to go about it? Perhaps a PM would be more helpful than constantly going over his weight in an open thread... (if you are sincere about being concerned for him). But he hasn't said he wanted help.. so... #justsaying

Because that's bullshit.

You never know, random people on the internet pointing it out might be the push he needs...I assume his family have already said things and he ignored them.

Smacky not to make it too personal but maybe if you fixed yourself up a bit you wouldn't have to make Facebook statuses about how you were unable to talk to women you find attractive.

Just saying.

I understand your point.. I just disagree with it. I don't think it's the place of any adult to impose their ideas on another adult.. including fitness. If someone is overweight, knows it and just doesn't care about it.. then that's their choice. Who are we to try to insult someone into doing something that we think is better for them. It's not like he doesn't know his lifestyle is unhealthy.. he just doesn't care atm. Pointing out what you may consider his flaws probably won't change that.

Oh those are sarcastic jokes.

But I'll keep the advice in mind.

This is a good blog: cheaphealthygood.blogspot.com

It gives recipes for cheap, healthy, good food. Once I get around to cooking on my own, I'll hit that shit up religiously.

But most of the time it ISN'T their choice, and if they say it is, it's because they're in denial. I'm not insulting anyone. I like Smacky. But we're not talking about playground jibes at the fat kid here. Obesity is extremely serious. It's a disorder just like anorexia. And if you think I wouldn't try and help an anorexic person, you are wrong. If someone on here was an alcoholic or a heroin addict I'd try and help them too. Turning a blind eye under the guise of "that's their choice" doesn't help anyone.

Maybe anything I say won't get through to him, but maybe it will. It makes no difference to MY life either way. So what's the problem? I'm not sitting here endlessly wisecracking and pointing and laughing like Nelson Muntz.

Dilla,

Getting obese can affect your education and social skills because obesity has been known to bring depression to individuals, thus making your life harder.

It's probably best to change your diet in-take a bit, and exercise. The problem with exercising is one get's hungrier. Well, that just means to intake more fruit, sir.
