Dilla,

Getting obese can affect your education and social skills because obesity has been known to bring depression to individuals, thus making your life harder.
Lmao...it's not like he needs a crane lift to get out of his house. He's the size of an offensive tackle...I'm sure ppl don't look at him like "That poor guy his life must be shit"

I already weigh 210lbs. And while Im not going into competitive bodybuilding, I am trying to get my body to the peak physical condition that I can. To me that is part of being healthy. I dont want to be Arnie by any means, but being in UFC type shape is what I am aiming for (not that I really look up to UFC fighters, but its the best imagery example I can give you.)

I do Martial Arts twice a week and gym three times a week. I burn through a LOT of protein and calories.

Im actually going to start taking Mass Gain powders. Because short of taking steroids I am finding it VERY hard to put on mass right now.

My brother is 3 inches shorter than you. But has that UFC cut. I am not sure how much he weighs now, but he has seriously cut his fat.... He looks like Face in the new A-Team movie, body wise. But a bit larger. No homo.

He works hard on the protein. Mostly from food. Lots of chicken breasts. He also snacks on cottage cheese. Which is gross.

Key Word: GETTING

...and no offence to Dilla, but he isn't no where near as atheletic as an OT in the NFL, Guaranteed.

Big Pun was a really promising basketball player in the early 90s wasnt he?

he died as a result of being grossly obese in the late 90s.

Aww come on Big Pun was 500-700lbs. There are healthy ppl at dillas height/weight which is why BMI is not accurate...ppl are just assuming he's flabby bc he said he doesn't eat right or exercise. My point was yea he might be out of shape but we don't need to form an intervention to take his chips and cookies away.

But how are we supposed to feel good about ourselves if we're not putting someone else down?

^^true. i just assumed from the other posts that he was very overweight and yea BMI isnt accurate.

the point i was making is that if you are over weight it can be easy to lose the run of it and get heavier and heavier if you dont make an effort to get it under control because the more body fat you gain and the less fitter you get the more difficult its gonna be to lose it.

Well, this thread certainly has given me some things to think about. We'll make some changes. But..."God to forgive me cause it's wrong but I plan to die.'

Being overweight isn't some sort of "fuck the world" rebelious gesture. It's laziness.

Maybe it is for dilla, but contrary to popular myth, most overweight people are anything but lazy. They go to great lengths to try to get themselves trimmer, making every honest effort to follow the advice of diet books and weight-loss "experts." The fact that they don't succeed is due not to lack of will or work but rather to the quality of advice they're following.

Nobody really wants to be overweight, although sometimes our society implies they do. But i don't believe that they are necessarily to blame. There are many factors that influence a person's level of fitness--and fatness--and if you're not aware of how these factors affect you, you can end up battling extra pounds for an entire lifetime and never understanding what's going on or why you are losing the battle.

i'll still snuggle with you smacky.
Yay. I'm liking this kinda support. My goal is now to hit 300. And when I do, I'll smack the shit outta Duke, kick him back while he's still in his chair and into a shithole reminding him "THIS....IS....SPARTA!!!"
