stop the jarule hating, every rapper out there trys to be pac and use pacs image and we dont diss them, all we do is diss ja, but stop it coz its wrong, look at 50 cent, i wud say hes a bigger pac wannabee then jarule, jay-z sampled me and ma girlfriend, diss him ffs lolz
Ja Rule wants to be 2pac so bad it hurts him. And also, 50 doesn't ride Pac's dick NEARLY as much as Ja does. To my knowledge, 50 Cent has never completely covered a 2pac song, like Ja did with "Pain".

I personally dislike 50 Cent, but I just straight out hate Ja Rule.

Do you know how many rock 'n roll artists haved covered whole songs?
 Dude, this ain't about covering a song. Yes, I realize people of all genres cover other artists work all the time. But Ja fucking murdered that song, and not in a good way. Ja wants to be Pac so bad it's actually sad.

It's somethin called a tribute.
Tribute's are supposed to be good. When Eminem "remade" Hail Mary, everyone was calling him a "Pac dickryder" and shit. But, Ja Rule actually does a REAL cover of "Pain" and he's "giving respect".

As for the reast of this post, a response isn't necessary because it appears to me you are a Ja dickryder and you completely took my comments wrong.

your knowledge is slim. 50 cent HAS covered a pac song.
Well, sorry, I'm not a 50 Cent fan, so therefore, I don't follow the guys every move.

What song did he cover? And if you're gonna bring up that crap he did with Busta and Eminem don't bother, because I don't even consider that a cover.

Since when did not knowing about an artists every fucking song reflect that person having "slim knowledge".

2pac is my all time favorite MUSICIAN period, and I don't know every single song he did.

Keep looking for reasons to hate people you don't know Threat.

I read on another site, that Ja Rule made a tune sampling "Pop Life" by Prince, which as we all know, Tupac sampled for the unreleased tune "Pac's Life".

But apparently Prince wouldnt let Ja Rule use it. haha.

Ja needs to come up with his own ideas.
man that is a bit of good news and bad news.

1) good that Prince would not allow it

2) Bad, prince probably will not allow Amaru to use it and with out that beat the song is worthless.

First off, Eminem used a classic Tupac song as a diss song to somebody to say that THEY wanna be Pac.
Yeah, many people (including some very respected in here) thought that was extremely clevery by Em and I agree.

50 basically covered Pac's verse on there.
You're right, and it took away from the song greatly. I don't like 50 Cent, so don't think I'm "defending" him at all. I like a few of the verses I've heard from him (namely from We All Die One Day and Never Enough). But I think what Ja did was worse.

"Pain" is a great song, but its not a classic like Hail Mary.
I think A LOT of Pac fans would disagree with you. To the mainstream it's not a contest because most mainstream fans don't even know Pain exists. Where Hail Mary was one of the biggest hits released that year.

Most ordinary Pac fans that dont know about his unreleased shit (believe me, they exist) probably never heard Pain before, so Ja was basically givin them somethin new...
Do you really think hearing it from Ja is the equivalent of hearing it from Pac? I mean, to me, the way I read what you just typed above, that's the way I took it.

I don't give a fuck who you are, nobody can do a legendary song by a legendary artist as well as that artist.

without altering the beat at all. I'm not a Ja dickr"y"der at all, if you had read my posts in the past you would know that I had said several times that I don't like Ja and I'm not a fan of his music.
Fair enough.

But I will defend him over Eminem & G-Unit because they're the biggest hypocrites out there. And I didnt take your post wrong at all. You said Ja's version of "Pain" was whack and 50 doesnt ride Pacs dick half as much as Ja.
50 hasn't rode Pac's dick nearly as much as Ja. You know, I mean, seriously, if Ja is so great, then why hasn't Afeni chosen Ja to work on some Pac stuff? As a matter of fact, Obie raps a line on "Doe Rae Me":

"I know that Afeni Shakur doesn't enjoy Jeffrey Atkins re-enacting her boy/ so I'm click-clackin' the toy/mash and destroy/ Shady slash Aftermath and Detroit, motherfucker"

Now, I just have this little feeling that Obie wasn't talking shit on that first line. I'm sure that Eminem and probably Obie as well have had several talks with Afeni, and the whole thing about 2pac has probably come up. Em and Obie probably say the shit they do because they have Afeni's approval. Whether that is good or bad in your eyes, you need to accept the fact that it's true. I'm not completely happy with what the Eminem camp has done with Pac's recent work (though he was flawless on Resurrection IMO), I think Ja is worse.

You also mentioned you dont listen to 50 so you dont follow his career that much, so you OBVIOUSLY wouldnt know how much he really does ride Pac's dick...even more than Ja.
I've listened to about half of 50's music to make the decision that I don't like him. However, as with any artist out period, if an artist comes out with something new, I won't refuse to give it a chance because there are several artists out there that I only like a few songs from. I know 50's career pretty well, but I was basically saying that I am not a fan of his, I don't own any of his albums even though I've heard a good chunk of his material. Also, there are so many straight out 50 haters on this board that everytime he even remotely "bites" Pac or "rides his dick", people are talking about it here, and I don't see as much of that as I do Ja.

Think what you want. I don't run my mouth, I just say what's on my fucking mind. People don't like blunt honesty, but I don't sugar coat shit. You say you have no problem with me then start calling me personal names a sentence later.

Resulting to personal insults toward someone for absolutely no reason. Nice dude...real nice. :thumb:

Ja needs to come up with his own ideas.

so in your eyes any other artist who use samples from popular songs which pac already used for his songs is a biter?

Ignore Johnathan Peatas he is a muppet. All the info he posted is bullshit.
They showed it on tv when VH1 was talkin about music beefs, and they did the beef between Em and Moby, they showed the puppet try talkin to Em and his crew just jumped in front of him like it was gonna murder him, thats pretty sad.

my thing is this, everyone says WHYS SO AND SO SAMPLING PAC, WHAT A BITER, fact is all artists sample other artists and pac was no different

i can turn and say WHYD PAC SAMPLE SO AND SO, WHAT A BITER.

now i agree ja takes it too far with jacking lines and shit, but using someones beat?

thats not biting

so you would of exploited Pac to help better yourself, promote yourself, and twist his words, you would of continued the blasphemous use of Pac's legacy to better yourself

i dont agree with alot of stuff you say but i respect it, but what you said i can never respect and have lost respect for you as a Pac fan

i hate when people use the term blasphemous referring to pacs legacy, some of you wouldnt even know what the fucking word means if he didnt have a song with that title.

A contemptuous or profane act, utterance, or writing concerning God or a sacred entity.
The act of claiming for oneself the attributes and rights of God.
An irreverent or impious act, attitude, or utterance in regard to something considered inviolable or sacrosanct.

thats what blasphemy means and tupacs work is none of those. so please stop the misuse of a word that you dont even know what it means.
