Well yes, the title sucks balls, but seeing at what time it was posted - I assume he was drunk when he did it, as it was in the middle of the night Australia when it was done. lol.

I, um.. would like to start a heated debate. I absolutely hate cats. They are ebil. Not kittens, they are cute. Just cats. They start out okay and grow into this evil wild beast that likes to nom your toes. House cats that is.

I like big cats, leopards are gorgeous.

I just really, really, really hate domestic felines.

"F*ck cats!" There, I said it.

When is he ever sober? I would like to see him post a sober thread!

And Pittsey is right. I am an atheist but people around me don't know that because I don't go around bashing religion even though I don't agree with it. I don;t like religion because they force their view on you from day you are born and their way is the right one they say. Why would I do that same thing that I hate onto others?

The way I see it if a grown person chooses to believe in religion then that is a firm decision they have made since the way I look at it it all sounds like a fantasy. But at that point why argue with them and try to convince them otherwise? That is what they chose to believe and I chose to believe there is nothing.

In the words of the Beatles - Let it be.

What would you prefer to talk about Funk?
This is a good question. I don't really know how to answer it. I come mainly to enertain myself by reading the stupid/hilarius stuff people post, to find new music in the good tracks thread. The only things I'm interested in discussing on here are Survivor, hockey (which no one ever wants to do), the odd video game and rock.

And do you have any plans to visit BC or ON in July?
I don't. I would love to hit up one of your shows, but I'm turning 21 this August, as are my best friends and were going to vegas. All my resources are being dedicated to that right now.

did you finish ME 2 yet?
No. I just got it last week and haven't had much time to play, I'm like 10 hours in I think. I'm on the second set of people to recruit, and working on gaining the loyalty of my squad/exploring clusters/side quests. I'm using Grunt and Mordin right now. The scientist cracks me up.

I'm liking this one more. It seems like everything that needed improving from the first one has been. Not that there was much that needed it, but having ammo for weapons, making the upgrades harder to obtain, and making aiming more realistic are big improvements. The game also has a much darker feeling to it, which I'm digging.

If you took the time to not be a fat cunt and actually read the thread you would've noticed it went on a different topic than mere "religion bashing".

But yeah, kicking against things from the sidelines is much easier, eh?
Before I say anything further I want to say this. I'm as anti religion as you, Jokerman, or Casey. I think having a healthy debate on the topic every once in a while is good. The things is, I don't give a fuck what anyone believes in or thinks. Read, it is not important to me what anyone believes in. I'm out for me, so as long as they don't get in my way I'll let them be. I won't go on ranting and raving, trying to change their ways because it is a waste of my time. No one wants to hear it. And why would they?

I realise the thread has evolved beyond mere religion bashing into the "right" of people to critisize others religous beliefs and from that into something about humans and apes/vegetables vs meat.

What I was saying is, the same fucking people have the need to have the same discussion week in and week out. Neither side understands what the other is saying. You hate extremistists (as you should) and because of extremistists you hate religion, among other reasons, and want it done away with. They are not extremist and say extremists are the minority, as in .1% of the population and don't understand such extreme comments as "lets kill allah". Its a retarded never ending cycle. Like, how many threads were there about the exact same thing two weeks ago? Three or four? The same people bring up the same points in the same way. Everyone, ok there are a few exceptions, is confrontational. People hate on me b/c I'm never serious. Read that thread with an objective point of view, do you really expect me, or anyone for that matter, to take that thread seriously. No. No one is interested in talking, they just want to hate from high above on their horses.
Pathetic.

What do you mean by "being serious"? Of course im serious with what im saying in these threads (most of the time at least) but whats bad about it? Im not going fucking ape shit infront of my notebook while typing my responses though.
Me saying let it be is pathetic? No sir, whats pathetic is the way you conduct yourself. This is obviously an important matter that you are rather passionate about. Don't say it isn't, because actions speak louder than words. So get off your fucking ass and go into the world and do something about it. No one wants to read your posts. You've read some Dawkins, good for you, now go out and educate yourself on the topic. Then go educate the public.

Edit: I forgot to add, if riling up people gives you the lulz then by all means continue. I just think some of you take it way too seriously.

Then maybe you would like to explain to me where the line is to be drawn?

To a certain degree im passionate about these topic, just like im passionate about the current world cup. I bet you are passionate about hockey too. The only difference here is that you simply dont care about these topics thats why its seems to be ridiculous for you that we talk about it again and again.

And Thuggy, are you able to express your own opinion....like, ever?

Of course you cant, this was a rhetorical question. As a great mind has said it before in this thread: actions speak louder than words.
Wrong again, you have a habit of being wrong on here. keep it up. I come here for a couple of reasons, one being habit the other being the football section as this is the only place where I feel the members have a good knowledge about that subject. I don't come here to debate whether God exists, or if eating chicken will kill me. Reasons being, I don't actually give a fuck about it. I have my own beliefs which I keep to myself as they are mine. Not yours, so why would I feel that I should debate them on here? My opinion won't change, your opinion won't change. We will just be arguing our points and getting heated because someone doesn't voice the same opinion.

If Casey doesn't believe in God, cool. If Bobby Sands follows religion, cool. I have no reason to argue either way because there is no point at all. I respect their beliefs so unlike some members on here I'm not going to go out of my way to make them feel bad about their belief.

Lets be honest Sebby, you're a try-hard anyway. You jump in a thread and just join the bandwagon and if you observe the thread you will realise you always have the weakest points. You will pick up on a throw-away comment made by a poster then try to argue it to make yourself look superior.

Now when England knock Germany out, I hope you fuck off from the board completly.

Sure, like there is no other subject where some members have a good knowledge about. Wrong.

I have my own beliefs which I keep to myself as they are mine. Not yours, so why would I feel that I should debate them on here?
For the same reason you debate your opinions in the football thread. There you go.

My opinion won't change, your opinion won't change. We will just be arguing our points and getting heated because someone doesn't voice the same opinion.
I cant give you a specific example right now but over the years ive heard a lot of new arguments concerning various topics which i would not have heard (or maybe later somewhere else) without talking about it on here. So yes, some of my opinions have changed a bit. Or at least i gained knowledge.
