i'll say this again, because people don't seem to get it... songs are remixed for retail release because:
1. the song was recorded as a demo to a quick loop
2. the song would not compete in the market by today's standards
3. orignal collaborators are unavailable or otherwise selected for removal to cater to the market demands
...likewise, pac knew his work would be remixed and enhanced.

the members of this board are some of the very few who'd shell out big money for an og set, and by in large thanks to the fact that people these days seldom buy cd's retail (relative to 5 years ago) it is unreasonable to believe that a $50 box set would even place on billboard.
