What are the top 5 most wasted songs by amaru records that could have been hits

#1
I think unconditional love was a hot song from pacs heart that was aimed at the ladies and the nigas that was struggling- Instead of making it a lead sing they strangly made it a b- side on a greatest hits album

Same wit troublesom they could have easily edited out the cussing and made it a single. The song was uptempo and hyp like lil jon orlil scrappy- instead they made it a b-side on a greatest hits album

Words to my first born- It was prolly the first hip hop song ever to have a strate up jazz beat and pac was dealing wit topics like abortion and the struggle for a young woman- They change the beat into somthing no rapper could seriously rap to and make it a b- side on a double album

Made nigaz- Pac gave them a video with a perfec beat and lyrics they could have made that a radio single or the lead single to a new album and pushed it onto the music channels i know they released it but i dont think they officially did cause they never play it.

Lets be friends- he used that classic whodini beat and ripped the track to pieces it was flawless they could have pushed that shit and made it a hit easily. Nas used the same beat and that was his biggest hit.

Who do you believe in- Prolly the first rap song or regular song ever to seriously deal with religion and faith- instead of pushin it as a lead single- that song could have been as big as anything he ever made then they could have marketed the fact that kadafi was on the song and how he was murdered -they buried it away on a wack soundtrack that only die hard fans would be able to find

The amaru marketing machine seems to be retarted or just real cheap. Its sad pac left enuff quality material out there that was on the same level as maw or aoe. I think if suge never got locked up and deathrow stayed on top that shit would have been strate. I mean the way the sir album was handled was just strange.

When Thugz Cry (OG)-----> A very emotional song with a great beat
Fame (OG)-----> You can tell Pac loved this song from tha Gang Related interview
Troublesome 96 (OG)-----> Great emotion from Pac and a great beat
This Life I Lead (OG)-----> Tha beat is just absolutely crazy
High Speed (SIR Version)-----> SIR version sounds more complete

jazz? sorry, but the presence of a saxophone (which was added after pac recorded the song) doesn't insteantly qualify as jazz. obviously pac wasn't the "only" rapper who could rcord to this beat as you say, evidenced by nuttso's presence on the song.

it was a video single as made figgaz to support the soundtrack. you don't see the video now because it's 9 years old.

first song to address religion and faith? so krs-one, pm dawn, arrested development, x-clan, and all these other guys in their sub-genre are chopped liver? fact is that pac didn't create hip hop, and hip hop had even more variance than 2pac ever could have. what makes pac special is that he was one of the very few artists who could walk several lines within hip hop.

suge getting locked up has nothing to do with anything.

i'll say this again, because people don't seem to get it... songs are remixed for retail release because:
1. the song was recorded as a demo to a quick loop
2. the song would not compete in the market by today's standards
3. orignal collaborators are unavailable or otherwise selected for removal to cater to the market demands
...likewise, pac knew his work would be remixed and enhanced.

the members of this board are some of the very few who'd shell out big money for an og set, and by in large thanks to the fact that people these days seldom buy cd's retail (relative to 5 years ago) it is unreasonable to believe that a $50 box set would even place on billboard.

i misread it, but yeah i still think it's not really a valid point.
there was nothing wrong with the quik remix beat except that we all liked the og better.

1 if u honestly listen to the orignal "words to my first born" and cant understand that a jazz beat like that str8 up jazz is unique to hip hop espicially dealing with the topics he did i dont nop what to tell you. I just think that the world needs to hear that its like keep ya head up or i get around.

2 And who do you believie in. If you cant see that for a gangsta rapper of pacs mainstream status to drop a song dealing wit religion and faith with his cousin who also was murderd is unique, then your crazy. They could hav made a video and really marketed that song as a way to explain who kadafi was.

3Made niggaz - I remeber when it was out a lil bit but i know it never got radio play. It wasnt suppose to be for the gang related movie soundtrack it was suppose to be a mini movie like snoops murder was the case. In plus if puffy can make a new song of a b-side biggie album and do a video for it like it was ne im pretty sure they could do somthing with the made niggaz video. whenever they do a pac tribute they never play it

and if suge didnt get locked up snoop prolly would have stayed and the dog pound would have stayed at least for another 2 or three years in that tim they would have dropped some over the top big budget pac albums no doubt.

Suge Knight doesn't own Pac's shit, Amaru does because Afeni took Suge to court and won, so Suge getting locked up means nothing. Snoop left the row for the same reason everyone else left the row, Suge was ripping everyone off (yes, even Pac). I suggest you go and take a look at some of Gang Starr's earlier work and in particular, Guru's side project, Jazzmatazz, if you think that Pac was the first to incorporate jazz and hip-hop

jazz was incorporated into hip hop back in the 80s, just ignore that kids comment, he probably thinks All Eyez On Me was a pioneer rap album

You don't know what the hell you're talking about and you obviously haven't heard the original of the song as there's no saxophone present, like Dante said. Saxophone was added to the OG.

Maybe you should actually listen to jazz music and rap music other than 2Pac and you might get a clue.

Back on topic Id go for...
Ghetto Gospel - they should of made a tight remix for this not some slowed down Eminem shit. Original wouldnt have made a good single.
Late Night - Beat enhanced would have made a tight single, good for the clubs.
They Don't Give A Fuck Above Us - Very powerful message, would of been a great single.
Don't You Trust Me - Eminem remix would have made a good single if the vocals had remained untouched and sounded perfect.
Thug N Me - Original has a really tight beat and could of made a good club song with a tight remix to math the og.

they should of made
Troublesome 96 a single ..to be 4 real it doesnt even need it , every1 luvs thse song and knows it wit out a video.

Po Nigga Blues Feat Ron Isley -One of the better tracks on LTTG

They should of Made Fair Exchange feat Mya a single. Girls luv this track , it would of been all over TRL ect. Same with My block Remix

Last 1 left should of been a single.. Seems like a perfect bar song.Even the outlaws spit decent verses on it.

2pac feat tha Realest- Ballad of a Dead SOulja - This was one of the best songs on the album, it could work as a single back in 99.

Hell 4 a huslter on sir should of been a single. They r really stupid for not making it one.

All i can think of rite now...
