Thanks for asking - they are sort of helping - i now have crutches to help me get about which is so much better as my joints are inflammed i was finding it so hard and painful to walk. I start physio properly on thursday - which 2 of them one for my slipped discs and the neurological one for the myelitis.

It was my birthday yesterday so i went out for a meal and the cinema and watched marley and me - it was soooo good. I went with crutches and all :) xxxx

Still not really any better - but am having a really bad day today i am in so much pain - the pain in my spine is just pure agony :( Physio on thursday and then next week they are getting me in the hydro therapy pool.

Also my auntie is getting sicker and sicker - she doesn't want to see me as she is in tears all the time and she doesn't want me to see her like that - her good days are bcoming less frequent so i will have to wait for one of those to see her. So yeah pretty shit time at the mo.

Also my boyfriends sister is law has cancer again (3rd time now she is 38) she has beaten breast cancer once (she was pregnant and had to terminate as the cancer was so far advanced) 5 years later she got bone cancer which spread to her liver and kidneys, but she was doing ok - and whilst she was being treated for that - she found a lump in her other breast - and guess what - breast cancer again! She told no one - only the people doing her chemo - she never told a sole until she knew - she went through all that on her own as she didn't want to worry anybody - but they tell her she will be ok as she is still having treatment for the bone cancer.

Makes my problem seem small - makes you think how lucky you are - treat everyday as your last people as you never know when you day will be xxxxx

Damn katie, that's a whole run of bad luck. Makes me feel a lot better that my biggest worry consists of protesting a few bullshit tickets, lol.

Also, third time cancer on your 38th? Talk about fucked up. That's really depressing.

Cancer is nasty. I actually know around ten people that died of cancer the past two years.

Only just saw this thread now, but I hope you get some aid with your pain soon. Do you know how recoverable your condition is? Will you be needing crutches for a long time?

I will try and frequently drop you cute little get better soon messages on facebook. Because I'm just that sweet. Get better soon Katie :)

Thanks you two :)

They really don't know as it varies from person to person no two people have the same problems with it - still waiting to see a joint specialist for them them to let me know if i my inflammed joints are to do with the transverse myelitis or not. Basically havew to sit it out as they left it so long to treat - needs to found in 72 hours - not 2 months later (and a shit load of tests later) the slipped discs don't help :(

But hey - things could be worse i am trying to stay positive i feel guilty if i feel sorry for myself - does that make sense? xxx
