yeah... He's the future goalkeeper for Bosnia's National team, of course I'll be happy that he won... :)

But screw Portsmouth though.

Edit: What do you think will happen during the transfer season? Do you think that Rafa will leave?

I kind of changed my opinion, for now, about Benitez... At this point, we definitly won't get the last CL spot, might as well assure the Europa league and the domestic cups and slowly build a solid base for next year's team... Right now, we are 6 points (most likely 9 after Arsenal play their match) from the 4th spot... I doubt that we can get back in there in half a season.

Maybe buy a good striker or a good play-maker to replace Alonso and have someone else up front other than Torres...

of course we can still get the last champions league spot. still along way to go yet.

And im growing very tired of Benitez. The fact that Aquilani wasnt in the squad today really angers me. Benayoun didnt start and for some reason Dossena does.

Yeah, I dislike his decisions, but firing him won't change anything at this point, should have been done in October.

I told you that his decision making sucks. I know I'm not Brian Clough, but some of his tactics and player choices are really ridiculous.

yes but he didnt deserve to be sacked in October. Yea, there is no point sacking him. You have to consider what our options are for a replacement. who could we get now? Mark Hughes? fuck that.

why not in October? It was obvious in October that the team was heading where we're now with him... We had Mancini as an option. Not anymore...

Speaking of Clough, I'm watching Forest - Preston North End... It's 3-0 for Forest, they're tied for 2nd place right now... They are playing better than most teams in the EPL. Come on Forest!

:D:D:D
Scousers = Laughing stock of Europe

7 League defeats already and you've got Wolves, Villa & Tottenham next.
Mcarthy will be probably gift you 3 points but Villa & T*tt*ham will be tough.

No Mascherano for the next 3 games and I think Aqualini is injured again.
Your going to struggle to qualify for the Europa League at this rate.

Meanwhile Arsenal are 5 points off the top with a game in hand :D

really?

5 European Cups

3 UEFA Cups

laughing stock indeed although you did say earlier AC Milan (7 times European Cup Champions) would be a "stroll in the park" for Arsenal. could you be anymore deluded?

how many have Arsenal won?

some interesting results today. fulham have gone and done it again and beaten united. i was suprised to see porstmouth beat liverpool also.

glad to see villa win of course, but damn! arsenal, tottenham and city won theirs!!

I can't remember if I told you this, but I won a £100 free bet in a Guardian competition. The last time I won it, I played it safe and spread the money across Liverpool, Chelsea, United and Arsenal. That was the week none of the top four teams managed to win, so I ended up with nothing.

This time I bet on Liverpool, United and Arsenal all to win, which would have given me £225. Not only did Liverpool fuck it up, but so did we.

Am I cursed?

City really are a classless pack of cunts. I really despise their chairman Gary Cook. an absolute prick of a man. I dont particularly like Hughes either but i think he has been treated unfairly and was never given full control of matters at the club. I dont think Mancini will do much for them tbh. I like Mancini. Sampdoria legend and a great player but im not convinced by him as a manager. I dont really care what he did at Inter because as far as im concerned they hadnt much competition.

Couldn't agree more Bobby. Mancini won't turn things around at Man City, then I can laugh at them more than I am now. :D

As for Pompey winning, I like Pompey, very loyal and vocal supporters. I never expected them to win today. They were a 7.0 on a betting site here. Fulham was at like 5.5 ... Incredible results today that's for sure.

I really want to know whats going on behind the curtains at Liverpool though, shit is about to hit the fan no doubt.
