Martin Jol would be a good replacement. I feel that O'Neill had hit a wall. If you could get Ireland in to replace Milner, and keep hold of Young, it wouldn't be so bad.

haha no. either hiddink or capello. bob bradley is 11/4 fav according to sky sports. i dont want him either.

like merson said, no manager can do what MON did for villa.

and its going to take a whole lot of time for the new manager to get used to the team and make his adjustments.

Paul Merson is a friend of the family. My dad was talking to him about Villa the other day. Martin O'Neill quitting never came up though.... lol

^^ yes, was out of the blue though. i dont think anyone expected that at this time of the year (i.e. 5 days before the season).

MON has never been sacked from a club and has always resigned.

if it was over transfer policies and money from sales being spent then the whole situation has been blown out of proportion. i think MON should have most of the money from the sale of milner to spend - we need to spend a little bit more to maintain our fighting position for the top 4 if not get those 2 or 3 players who could bring the quality and confidence to the side that has slipped up on their chances of a top 4 spot. maybe the whole situation is a lot more complex than money issues and the sale of milner and offers for young.

its taken this long for MON to come in and transform the whole villa squad, now with him gone and milner going its all falling apart with the new season just days away. not a good start. this is disastrous and the worst thing that could happen to us this season, even worse than milner leaving is MON resigning.

Merson is borderline retared IMO.

Bob Bradley will be the next Villa manager.

so what ive been saying for the past 2 months or so has been correct. Given is dropped despite being one of that shithouse club's better players over the past season and a half. Hart is number one. likely because that bastard of an chairman got in Mancini's ear about wanting the english man in goals.

anyway, i hope Given moves away from there now. he should never have went there in the first place and should have walked out after how Richard Dunne was treated last summer

come on spurs.

You take it too personal. Joe Hart is a very good keeper. Given is quality also, but he does lack a little in physical presence, although he is an amazing shot stopper.
