Malaga keep up their spending with signing Toulalan from Lyon. So far they have signed:

Mathijsen
Toulalan
Ruud Van Nistelrooy
Demichells (from last season)
Baptista (Last season also)
Deigo Buonanotte from River Player

Good signing, maybe not Demichells but the rest are decent to good signings.
wow. On a spending spree.

^^

If he wants to go, you have to let him. I'd be looking for a good replacement and trying to get Chelsea to spend silly.

Looks it's a permanent sign.

Italian champions AC Milan have signed Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng from Genoa CFC for a reported fee of around €7m as they go in search of their first European title since 2007.
The 24-year-old midfielder had spells with Portsmouth FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC in England before joining Genoa in August 2010. Boateng then immediately moved to San Siro on a season-long loan deal where he made 26 league appearances as Massimiliano Allegri's side claimed their first Scudetto in seven years.
Boateng will join Alberto Paloschi in the Rossoneri squad for the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League group stage after the 21-year-old forward was recalled following three seasons on loan at Parma FC and Genoa.

As well..........

Grafite (Wolfsburg) will be moving to some rich club in Dubai. It's not very big news, but since he had that insane season 2 years ago I thought I'd post it up.
He's 32.

Djibril Cisse (Panathinaikos) is on the verge of making a move to SS.Lazio.

Word is that Juventus is planning on dropping a huge sum in order to pick up Aguero (Atletico Madrid)

So we've signed Ashley Young. I don't feel we need him. Fergie might see him as an attacking midfielder but meh. I want a Centre Mid!

Chelsea FC tipped to sign Falcao, Romelu Lukaku and Luka Modric

Falcao(credit: Wikipedia)

Porto striker Falcao, Anderlecht forward Romelu Lukaku and Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric are all being tipped to join Chelsea this summer
As reported earlier on Friday, Anderlecht teenager Romelu Lukaku is still expected to join the Blues this summer following the appointment of Andre Villas-Boas as manager (see below).
Bookmakers William Hill have made the Belgium international their odds-on favourite in a special To sign for Chelsea in the Summer Transfer Window market.
Reports in Portugal this week have suggested that Columbia striker Radamel Falcao is on his way to Stamford Bridge and that personal terms have been agreed, with Falcao set to join Villas-Boas at the west London club providing Chelsea meet his €26.5million release clause.
Both he and Tottenham playmaker Modric have seen their odds cut to join Chelsea, while Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o is also strongly fancied to join the Premier League side this summer.
Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly told Crunchsports: "It appears that Andre Villas-Boas may emulate Mourinho before him by bringing over a hoard of his former players in an attempt to bring glory to the Bridge."
Porto duo Hulk and Moutinho have also been linked with moves to Chelsea, along with Santos striker Neymar, who is also a £40million target for Real Madrid.

2 more strikers. That's exactly what they need.

Modric would be a good signing. But they already have a pretty good midfield.

Yeah, though they need a creative midfielder. Apparently Chelsea are looking for a clearout with the likes of Drogba, Anelka, Essien, Mikel on the way out.

I think those 4 would do well elsewhere. Essien depending on his knee, could still be world class. Mikel can still be a great. Drogba goes without saying. And Anelka would play well in a system that suits him.

Liverpool after Downing for £22m and Mata also. Question for Sandeep, did Downing play more as a winger or attacking midfield for Aston Villa?

I used to think Downing was awful, especially for England he was so frail and scared of being tackled, but he seemed a different player for Aston Villa, whoever worked with him did a good job.

It was Martin O'Neill that restored his confidence and brought out the best of him.

Downing used to play on the left wing under MON, with Young on the Right Wing (Milner centre mid with petrov; or young in a free role behind gabby and/or carew).

When Houllier came in, he played Downing on the Right-wing, switching sides with Marc Albrighton. He put Agbonlahor on the left-wing at times and Young just behind Bent. Under Houllier, Downing occasionally played as an attacking midfielder from the centre.
